What does it cost to sell?
Nothing up front. Lumi takes 8% of the item subtotal when something sells — and nothing at all from shipping.
Who pays for shipping?
The buyer does. It's one flat shipping rate per shop — or the shop's own Shopify rates when their store is connected — shown clearly at checkout before anyone pays.
Do I need a big following to host?
No. Anyone can create a seller profile, list products and go live the same day. Shows surface on Discover regardless of follower count.
Is checkout real money yet?
Yes — checkout is a real card payment. Sellers connect a payout account and get paid automatically, minus Lumi's 8% on item sales.
